Hakushu, a floral and subtly smoky single malt from Suntory’s Mt. Kaikomagatake distillery, is referred to as “the fresh Japanese whisky.” Malt whiskies from this region are endowed with an uncommon smoothness and purity because of the alpine environment of opulent trees and water that has been filtered by rain and snow through ancient granite rock. Hakushu® Distiller’s Reserve serves as the brand’s launch.

We improve the refreshing, crisp qualities of Hakushu by blending our lightly peated malt whiskies with matured American white oak barrel malt whiskies, all while honoring the brand’s tradition and distinctive flavor. The whisky known as Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve is as vivid and smooth as a new leaf of greenery, with subtle subtleties.
